The fishing village of Fornells is built around this main harbour area, but spreads right back along the road which we drove in. As you can see, it is a well tended and expensive looking resort. Probably a bit too chic and fashionable for us, to be honest. It seemed to have a very exclusive clientele and a rather high opinion of itself. Or maybe we were just there on the wrong day?
We were told that the King of Spain favours this spot for a lobster lunch when he is in the area. It is certainly well known for its fish restaurants. We decided aginst the more pricey fish and went for sardines instead in an effort to save our pockets!
