There are actually two beaches at Es Canutells. This tiny one, next to a jetty and a much larger one over the headland. We arrived before most people were up and about so it was fairly quiet and peaceful, but there is a large hotel at the top of the cliff, so I imagine it gets quite busy later.
As you can see, it is at the end of a long inlet, so the water is flat and sheltered. The reddish tinge to the rocks made the sand a lovely golden-orange. One side of the jetty is a flat sandy area and the other is rocky.
Other than the hotel and a small bar or two, there is not much to do here, except enjoy what Mother Nature has to offer.
