These caves are really well worth a visit. We went just as it opened one morning (I think it was open at 10:30 until 9pm). It was a rather expensive 10 Euros, but this includes a drink of your choice.
The caves have been transformed into a bar and night club inside, which opens at 11pm. This arrangement may seem a little unusual but looks fantastic - there are corridors and underground 'rooms' with interesting light effects. There is an inside and outdoor bar, with great views right across the sea. We were impressed!
Apparently the caves are named after a man, Xoroi, who appeared one day from the sea and lived in the cave. The legend says that he was a thief, stealing from the locals and even abducting a girl. When the locals eventually caught up with him, he dived into the sea and was never seen again.
