Guide and Virtual Tour of Menorca: Cala de Binibeca. | Panorama | Review | Map
This lovely beach was close to where we stayed, so we got to know it quite well. It has gorgeous, soft, almost white sand and plenty of parasols and sunloungers for hire. Back from the beach itself is a small wooded area, where you can grab some shade for free. The one beach bar is very friendly, but not particularly cheap - we enjoyed watching the sun go down here in the evening - however, the bar closes at 8pm.
As you can see, the beach is really popular and got very busy in peak season. The two car parks here soon filled up as people piled out to walk through the woods to the beach for the day.
The area is not a highly developed tourist resort, but the nearby picturesque and tastefully re-created Binibecer Vell 'fisherman's village' and Cala Torret do have apartments - some of which are owned as second homes by people from all over Europe and especially the Spanish mainland.
