We were very pleasantly surprised by how lovely this beach was! In fact, it is really two beaches as you can see, separated by a small rocky headland. This is also where you will find the Diving School. The water was very inviting - a golden, sandy beach and sand under your feet, right out into the bay.
Lots of space to relax and build sancastles on the beach and a few bars and cafes on the shore. We definitely recommend the restaurant one to the far side of this photo. It is MUCH more relaxed than the one opposite and does the most gorgeous iced lattes. Probably the friendliest service on the island too.
The owner showed us some of his tin can models. Literally! He had made toy cameras, cars etc out of drinks cans. They were fantastic!
The beaches had life guards and a toilet. You could hire the usual sunlongers and parasols here, but it wasn't too developed and still felt like the real Menorca.
