To be honest, Cala Alcalfar is really the sandy beach at the end of this inlet (you'll have to use the zoom to see it better).
Parking down on the beach was pretty well impossible, so we opted for a spot further out towards this headland. I'm glad we did: there are some fantastic, large caves out here and a huge rocky outcrop to clamber about on. The whole place seemed very chilled out and calm, not like some of the very developed resorts at the west and south of the island.
